Chris Haan is a born and raised native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Chris started his medical began medical career by earning a Bachelor in the Science of Nursing from Ferris State University. He decided to further his medical career after a decade of nursing practice by completing his Master in the Science Nursing from Spring Arbor University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Chris's nursing experience includes working in the Emergency Department and as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room. While in the OR, Chris worked in multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, neuro, thoracic, vascular, urology, general, transplant, and trauma. Working in the OR has led Chris to develop a passion for preventative health.

At Born Clinic, Chris believes good health is the foundation for nearly every facet of life. He is passionate about partnering with patients to collaboratively build that foundation to achieve their health goals.

When not at the clinic, Chris enjoys playing soccer and walking the beaches of Lake Michigan with his wife and two shelties, Lucy and Zoey.
